The Pennine Way is an English National Trail, that finishes just the other side of the border in Scotland. The trail is 267 miles from Edale, Derbyshire Peak District, via the Yorkshire Dales, the North Pennines and Northumberland National Park ending at Kirk Yetholm, Scotland. The average time to complete the trail is 16 to 17 days, I completed in 15.5 days. The highest point on the trail is Cross Fell, at 893m (2930ft).
